The Mary McDowell Friends School is a private Quaker school providing college prep level education for students in grades K-12 who have learning disabilities. They provide a rigorous curriculum with full support for learning differences, as well as commitments to the community and Quaker values of service, peace, integrity, community, equality, and simplicity.
New York Engineers assisted with a classroom renovation. Classrooms were split using collapsible walls to allow for smaller learning groups, while still being able to hold larger classes where necessary. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm design were supplied to support the new classroom layouts.
