AltSchool has been building a technology-enabled network to empower and connect families, students, and teachers. AltSchool started by opening first school back in fall 2013 and, since that time they expanded to schools across San Francisco, Palo Alto, and New York City.
How We Helped ALTSCHOOL TENANT WORK - 90 5TH AVENUE
NY Engineers provided professional MEP/FP engineering consultation services for the renovation. The project consists of preparing tenant plans for the 8,100 ft2 space, comprised of the full 2nd floor and a first floor entryway. This entailed full MEP/FP design for the space. Roof space was used for mechanical equipment only.

NY Engineers was involved with the designing of the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the renovated glass washing and sanitizing room. The biological laboratory serves for students and researchers, and as a teaching facility.
