Renovation & Legalization

While some historical records indicate Sixpoint Brewery was founded in 2004, the real birth of Sixpoint begins at the dawn of civilization. That is when the earliest societies began cultivating cereal grains to make fermented beverages, and the desire for excellence in the craft of brewing was forged.

NYE provided professional MEP/S engineering consultation services for the renovation and legalization. The project consists of relocating the boiler room, including existing boiler and hot water heater, from the cellar to the roof of 34 Van Dyke Street; legalizing a stairwell at 40 Van Dyke Street; and the fitout, design, and legalization of balcony space.
