PROJECT INFORMATION

One of the four iconic twin towered apartment buildings on Central Park West and long an unofficial neighborhood landmark, The Century was given official status in 1985 when it was described as a “sophisticated essay in Art Deco design” by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. Built in the 1930s by Irwin Chanin, who also designed and constructed The Majestic on 72nd and CPW as well as several Broadway theatres.

HOW WE HELPED TUCHMAN RESIDENCE

We provided professional MEP engineering consultation services for the renovation. The project consists of renovating the approximately 1,400 ft2 apartment. The apartment contains two bedrooms and two bathrooms located in a cooperative and landmark building. The project was filed with the coop/landlord review, NYC landmarks, and Department of Buildings.
