Washington Heights Corner Project

What started out in 2005 by a social worker and several volunteers as passing out supplies from a nylon knapsack, the Washington Heights CORNER Project (Community Outreach and Resources, Needle Exchange Program) has grown to become the first not-for-profit social service organization of its kind in Washington Heights.

With the mission of providing evidence-based education and support to make healthy and positive life changes, the CORNER Project has provided hundreds of people with the tools to succeed.
